The seller refunded me very quickly, and seeing as how honest he was, I wanted to purchase a camera from him again.

the 500C/M are the TTL-OTF flash system, a winder connection and the gliding mirror system. I don’t need any of these features, personally. I only shoot a 503CW because it’s the youngest model. You can purchase a 500C/M if it’s in good condition and get beautiful results. You won’t see a difference. Throughout the life of the V Series, Hasselblad incrementally updated the cameras. The 500C gave way to the 500C/M, the 503CX and 503CXi, the 501C and 501CM, and finally the 503CW as the basic manual.
